So after several months of procrastination I have finally posted my rules of pie to the Is it pie blog.

sooooo, some meat in gravy in a ceramic pot with a layer of pastry at the top is not a pie - even if it has two layers of pastry on top?

Unless you're Heston Blumenthal or similar trying for deconstructed pie, I suspect the answer is no...

Thank you. I must admit I was most confused about how pie seemed mostly to be savoury item when I first moved to the UK.
